Can thick yellow colostrum in breast be a sign of pregnancy? This may be a stupid question since I have had three children and should know the signs of pregnancy but this is a new one for me. I stopped nursing my youngest one in October. My milk dried up in November. I was just in the shower and noticed something yellow on my nipple and discovered it was a thick yellow colostrum. It is coming from both breasts. My period is not late yet. I am due to start on January 27th. Any advice will be greatly appreciated :)
is it normal during pregnancy to leak colostrum from only one breast? I am 32 weeks pregnant and have been leaking colostrum. However, it is only leaking from one breast. Will I have trouble breast feeding from the breast not leaking?
They say it's OK to breastfeed during pregnancy, but what about colostrum? So we know it's okay to breastfeed during pregnancy and that it won't take nutrients away from the unborn child. I have read that doctors say it's even okay to continue breastfeeding the older child after having the newborn and tandem nurse. You will make enough milk (supply & demand). BUT... You also hear about how important colostrum is. Don't you only produce colostrum when you first begin breastfeeding? Will the newborn miss out on this because you've been continually breastfeeding through the birth?
Leaking colostrum before period, sign of pms or pregnancy? I have a 10 month old that I could not breastfeed. For the past two days I've had sore boobs and leaking colostrum just out of the right one. I have weird periods so it will either start sometime between tomorrow and Monday. I did test yesterday just to see and it was negative. So I don't know if this a period thing (never had it), postpartum, or early pregnancy. THANKS!
are you suppose to squeeze the colostrum out during pregnancy? 22 weeks pregnant.... will squeezing it out make more? with my first son my breast milk didnt come in all the way.

What exactly is colostrum? And in what point in pregnancy do you begin having it? I am only 4 1/2 months pregnant and ive been noticing some clear liquid on my nipples.. Is this normal??? I don't leak alot of it, i just see tiny clear liquid spots, but their not very noticeable to the point where it wets my bra.. Just tiny spots.
What is your opinion? Do you think that if you begin leaking colostrum during pregnancy....? that you will have an easier time nursing? I was unable to nurse my first child due to lack of milk/colostum, and she had a high pallet and she was not latching on right. I've only heard about it on the market for the last few years, but was it in use before this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking it in powdered form versus raw liquid? Thank you! And, I've heard that dried colostrum that has been dried by using heat destroys many of the health benefits. But, what about when you take the raw, unpasteurized colostrum (like, the straight from the cow kind--but bottled). Can you heat that up and drink it warm?
Normal for breasts to leak colostrum in very early pregnancy? I may be pregnant (we are trying), but I guess it is too early to detect it with a home test. I tested yesterday and it was negative. For two days I have felt a light cramping, or "pulling" feeling in my lower abdomen. Then today at work, my breasts started tingling and leaking a small amount of colostrum. Does this mean I am pregnant?

leaking colostrum after baby = pregnancy or hormones? well my son is almost 4 months old. i was breastfeeding but complications with him led to not being able to past 4 weeks. anyways, my milk dried up quickly and its been at least a month and a half since i was able to squeeze any milk from my nipple. over the last 2 days or so i noticed that my breasts are hard - not tender - but harder than normal. they're not so much so like being engorged but they're just a little harder than last week. i squeezed to see if maybe for some hormonal reason i had some milk in there, but what came out i think was colostrum. it was mostly whitish with clear but it was a sticky texture, unlike milk. during my pregnancy with my son, i leaked a teeny tiny bit from about week 20 on. why would this be happening now?? does it mean i could be pregnant? im not lte on my period or anything, not til next week. seems a bit early to be leaking colostrum if i were pregnant... could it just be hormones? i know colostrum is normally yellow but when i had it while pregnant with my son is was very light yellow and appeared white/clearish almost at times. but i can tell by the texture of it that its not milk! milk is very watery while colostrum is sticky. and i wasnt "stimulating" my nipples, i gave them one squeeze to see just because my breast felt harder. and colostrum is what came out

leaking colostrum during pregnancy? i'm 26 1/2 weeks pregnant and have been leaking colostrum (i guess thats what its called before delivery) for several weeks. i notice it especially after a hot shower (no big deal i know). my question is that it used to be just a clear syrupy liquid-- now i've noticed it has what looks like milk mixed in with it (its about a 50/50 mixture now)-- is that normal before delivery? let me reword my question: is it normal to have the milk mixture colostrum now? or is it supposed to be clear still?

early pregnancy - leaking colostrum? Hi everyone, I have been ttc my second child for 12 months. I am 4 days late (but may not always regular) and this morning woke up and my breast leaked colostrum. I have taken tests that were negative. Is it possible for this to happen if I am not pregnant? Has anyone had this happen? I have other signs such as exhaustion, nausea and sore breasts.

Can leaking colostrum be a early sign of pregnancy? So I have a 5 year old that I breastfed for 7 months and my breast countinued to leak slightly for about a year after but eventually dried up. I just had my period the 20th of last month, so if I am pregnant It would be REALLY early. Is colostrum in fact a sign of early pregnancy? Could you get it that soon? Leaking Colostrum but Negative pregnancy test? So a couple of days ago I noticed that I had some colostrum leaking, I have also been having cramping in my stomache and pain in my sides., plus Ive been really tired. I am a mother of a 2 year old but I only breast feed him till he was a month old and my breast dried up like 3 months after I stoped breast feeding. Well anyways I took a test and it was negative, but I have taken these test before when I was pregnant with my son and the were correct and then last month and I got 3 positives and I went to the doctor and I wasnt pregnant. I was just looking for opinions. I know call the DR and have a blood test(Im working on it).. any other opinions To answer one question I know its colostrum because Ive been pregnant and I had a baby, and i leaked then to, I know what color it is and what not.. and I know its not because of my period cause I had that 2 weeks ago but it was different then it usually is...
I am 30 weeks pregnant leaking colostrum - when squeezing blood is also coming out of one breast is this norm I am 30 weeks pregnant and when squeezing one of my breast blood is coming of as well as colostrum. I've never experience this before. I have one daughter - now 3 and between this pregnancy 3 miscarriages. The other breast appears to be fine. I didn't leak this much colostrum during my first pregnancy and I find that my breast appears normal without any lumps. Should I get this investigated and is this normal.
When do women start lactating or producing colostrum? I know it will take awhile, but I was wondering because I have had a breast reduction and hoping to see some indication that I could breast feed. Colostrum leaking... haven't breastfed for 4 years. A VERY early sign of pregnancy? I have noticed recently that after sex (and when my husband plays with my breasts) that I leak some colostrum. I have not breastfed in over 4 years. I also do regular self-exams and haven't noticed any lumps or other possible signs of cancer. My breasts are horribly swollen and tender tho... could this be a sign of pregnancy? My period isn't late... yet. Has anyone else had colostrum leak when it's not related to pregnancy or breastfeeding? I've looked into mastitis. If it continues I will definitely go to the doc, but it's the same in both breasts, so I don't think it's an infection.
Is colostrum production during pregnancy...? indicative that a woman will have a steady milk supply after baby is born? Or does it really not mean anything at all (Other than the obvious, that a woman is pregnant, heh)? Just curious. Thanks. I intend on breastfeeding. I breastfed my daughter (who is now 6 1/2) despite a complicated c-section and other ailments, but never had colostrum leakage during my pregnancy with her. Signs of Pregnancy? Swollen milk ducts, cramping and VERY sore breasts...and now leaking colostrum??? My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I ovulated on New Year's Eve and about 6 days later I started with some minor cramping (possibly implantation?), VERY sore breasts and my milk ducts are looking like they did when I was breastfeeding my first child. Has anyone had similar symptoms? In "What to Expect When You're Expecting" it states that sore breasts can start as early as 2 days after conception! I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, however, my period is not due until Sunday so it's WAY to early for that. And then, lastnight, I started leaking colostrum from my breasts...I never had this at all in my last pregnancy...as a matter of fact I had a very difficult time producing milk. Has ANYONE has this and been pregnant or could this be something else? HELP! I am very anxious...does anyone have any input? Similarities etc.? The first time we were pregnant we only tried one month and were successful...I was really hoping it would happen that way again! Is it safe to collect your colostrum at 26 weeks? It leaks out all the time, why waiste it? I've heard that pumping can cause you to go into labor, I nver get contractions when I'm pumping or paying any attention what so ever to my breasts. So, do you think theres an objective to me storing my colostrum this early in my pregnancy. The reason I'm asking is because my moms freaking out.

Not my first pregnancy, but I have a weird possible symptom...? I have been pregnant twice before, and think I might be again, but it is still too early to take a test. Swollen Lymph nodes during pregnancy? I have swollen lymphnodes under my collar bone. Ive had blood work and the doctor told me its normal and that my blood work is fine. Ive really been worrying about it though. What are my chances of prem labour? I'm 34weeks. My stomach has dropped, I've been having Braxton Hicks on and off this week, and I'm producing colostrum. clear colostrum..?Confused? I am 23 weeks now, and today a clear liquid was coming from my breasts..I know it is normal to leak during pregnancy, but I thought colostrum was supposed to be a yellowish color at first, and only clear in the later stages of pregnancy? During pregnancy, i have heard of colostrum leakage. but aroung how many weeks does this usually happen? and what does it look like? i noticed that my nipples are white, they are not dry. but i havent even been confirmed pregnant yet. 37 weeks and not leaking colostrum yet...? I am 37 weeks pregnant and have not produced any colostrum yet. I am 31 years old and this is my second pregnancy-my first one was when I was 19, and I produced colostrum at approx. 6 months with that pregnancy, and I breastfed for a few months. I would like to breastfeed again. Is the lack of colostrum production an indicator that I may not be able to breastfeed this time? Squirting colostrum? I'm 8 months preggo, with child number 2. And during this pregnancy, i noticed that i can actually squirt out colostrum...like a stream. I tried to breastfeed my first, but didnt really produce enough milk. Does this mean i can produce more milk with this pregnancy? Has anyone experienced this before?
Pregnancy question? Ok so i know you guys are not a pregnancy test but i just want to know your opinion. I know that you can get pregnant on your period and you can even have a period while you are pregnant, so here's my question. Feb 9 i had a normal period. while on that period i had unprotected sex with my hubby. about a month later at the begining of march i had a very light and short period. Now i am due again for my next period and i havent gotten it yet. also for the past two weeks i have been very bloated, gasey, crampy, exhausted, and nauseated, but no vomitting. i never have pms symptoms this bad or 2 weeks before my period. i only ever have cramping and bloating while i am on my period. also yesterday i noticed that my nipples are white at the very tip. i found out this could be dried colostrum but does this come this early into pregnancy? does it sound like i might be pregnant? should i take a test? I am really nervous and am driving myself crazy. if anyone has any advice, it would be grealy appreciated.
Pregnant? Pregnancy test negative? I have a son, he's two and last time he breastfed was in July of last year. I was on the depo shot for nine months, I've been off of it for about a month now, and this morning I noticed there was some colostrum fluid in my breasts. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative... is it possible I took it too soon? Any advice? What do you guys think?
milk/colostrum question? Ok this is my second baby, although the first was over four years ago. I never got colostrum or milk before she was born and een then we had to supplement for a little over a week because I wasnt getting any to come in, well I am now in my 32nd week and last night (sorry if tmi although i doubt on a pregnancy website there is ever really tmi) my hubby was getting a bit frisky and grabbed my breast, not hard or anything at all (trust me they are tender i would tell him) and milk, white milk, shot out at his face, I laughed of course... now I had colostrum early this time, the golden yellow sort of clear discharge, but MILK already, it isnt clear it is an off white and watery but not colostrum, i have had preterm labor, contractions with dilation, had to be iven trebutaline? please tell me this is NOT a sign of labor in the next few weeks, also she had dropped tremendously in the past week, i now have 4 inches between my breasts and my baby bump. hahah good to know... It just came up so fast and squirted literally 3 feet... Thanks ladies!
leaking colostrum at 13 weeks? I've been leaking colostrum since I was at 13 weeks is it normal? This is my first pregnancy so I have no clue what to do. At first I was only leaking a little, first it would only come out if I squeezed it but now I feel a pinching sensation on my nipple and I look and a drop comes out.

colostrum- neg test---Could I be Pregnant? I have been on the mirena for 3 years now. I also have a 3 year old son. My breasts have been hurting alot over the last couple of weeks, as well as changes in mood/sleep/appetite. I saw tonight that my left breasts is producing colostrum. This has never happened at all since after getting a shot to dry my breast milk up after i had my son... I took a pregnancy test tonight...though it was kind of a forced pee and there wasnt much. It said not pregnant. Is it possible that I really am pregnant and that the test just didnt notice the hormones in my urine?? What else would cause all of this? Could the mirena make the test say no?? also, my nipples have been hurting pretty bad to. I took another test this morning and it also said no. The substance is sort of clear with a little tuny bit of yellowish color. Its also sticky. What else could ths be?
breasts leaking colostrum already? I am 27 weeks pregnant(almost 7 months) and I was doing my monthly self breast examination and as i was feeling around my nipple area whitish clearish liquid came out of my nipples, as a medical assistant I know that this is colostrum. But I had no idea that it could come this early, is that normal? also will i be leaking it whenever my nipples are touched from now until the birth of our baby?(I am going to breast feed so obviously it will be important then lol) Do I need to wear the little pads people put in their bras or what? I was expecting this later in pregnancy and not so soon so im a little freaked out lol i know i shouldnt be, sorry =] thanks for any advice from any moms that have gone through this always
37 weeks pregnant. . .colostrum? Am I already supposed to have colostrum in my breasts or no? I know that this will feed my baby until my milk comes in,,,but I don't have anything leaking at all right now. Was just curious. This is my first pregnancy. 29 weeks and already producing colostrum....? I am only 29 weeks but my breasts have already started leaking colostrum. Other mothers I have mentioned this to seem surprised that I am already at this stage. Could this indicate that I will deliver sooner than expected? This is my first pregnancy.
False Pregnancy in Dogs? My dog ent through her first heat cycle and we thought we watched her carefully enough. I know that the dog from down the street got out a few times during that time too. Her heat was around June 23, we have noticed over tht last few weeks we saw that her nipples had started to drop and yesterday we noticed that she was producing colostrum. Our male dog was neutered when she was 3 months old so it couldnt have been him. Our dogs did try to mate so would that cause her to have a false pregnancy? My mother doesnt think shes pregnant but I do. She hasnt put on much weight and shes not showing like some dogs Ive seen when their pregnant, but I have also seen dogs that are skinny have only one pup. How do we know if were going to be getting puppies or not?
Did anyone else start leaking colostrum this early...? I was only about 5 months along when I started waking up with a soaked t-shirt. My mom and grandma freaked out, saying it was really weird. Most women I have talked to say they didnt get their milk in until after birth. Did I get mine early because my husband and I were sexually active during my pregnancy and my nipples were stimulated, or is it something that just happens?
milky colostrum? afternoon to all i was just wondering is it normal to have milky colostrum at 35 weeks?i have never noticed it in previous pregnancies.could this be a sign bub's isn't far away?i have had plenty of signs of early labor.
I am 24 weeks and have not leaked any colostrum? When does it usually come in? My sister told me she was leaking way before 24 weeks and other women have told me they have had it beofre pregnancy... is it something that should happen by now?
are pregnancy tests always correct? no periods for 6 months and breast enlargement with colostrum present, some swelling in stomach and slight wt. gain. older type ultrasound showed enlarged uterus yet all pegnancy tests have come out neg. Is it possible to be pregnant even when the tests are neg.? How can i find out for sure what is happening? the doctors charge so much and i feel i need a pelvic and/or another more advanced ultrasound. Any advice?
Breastmilk during Pregnancy...? I am five months pregnant and can already shoot my colostrum..(TMI I know) My breasts are so full and painful, it almost feels like I am engorged or something. Do I start pumping now to relieve the pain? Will this induce labor (which I don't want yet)? If I do pump can I save it for the baby? Anyone have an answer?
could these be pregnancy symptoms? ok i was due for my period on the 28/06 and on the 25/06 i started getting really bad cramps and then the next day i got some bleeding for about an hour at first i just thought it was my period but then it stopped and just was very light brown spotting for the next two days (could that have been implantation?) i took a home test on the 29/06 and it was negative... but now my breasts are starting to get abit sore and when i squeeze them this milk stuff comes out? but i would have thought it would would be to early to have colostrum?? what are your thoughts?
Bleeding from nipples during pregnancy? I am 36wks and 5 days pg for a long time now i have had colostrum in my breast well today i noticed my breast were hurting more than usual and i squeezed my nipples and a little bit of blood came out,what could it be?It is not much but still if i squeeze my nipples a small amount comes out.
HELP! I need to know about possible pregnancy in a pug by a bigger dog!? Ok, here's the deal. My pug turns a year old TODAY. Her first heat (and ONLY heat that she's had) was in MAY.Within the last two weeks, we've taken in a male rescue mini australian sheppard who is INTACT. My female is NOT spayed, but hasn't been in heat (to my knowledge, and I'm VERY observant) since May.When we took in the rescue, he was VERY interested in mounting my pug, and I tried desperately to keep them seperate by crating him while she was out, and vice versa. There were a few times that before I could crate the other, he mounted her. Not sure if he actually GOT her though, and he surely never LATCHED ON and "stuck together" with her. He's TRIED though, and if he DID manage to get her, it was VERY breif and they didn't get "stuck" that way.Now I'm concerned though. My vet has told me to do regular "breast checks" on her to make sure she doesn't develop any lumps which could be potential tumors, so I do her regular checks. During a check today, I noticed tiny COLOSTRUM drops! My 1 yr old pug was mounted by a mini aussie. He's about two inches taller and longer than she (she's 12x12 and 15 lbs and he's probably 14x14 and 10 lbs). She's not been in heat since MAY, and they never got "STUCK" and if he got her, it was VERY breifly... like one minute or less. How much is a pregnancy test/pup abortion, or will she be able to deliver safely? I did a breast exam today and she has COLOSTRUM drops in her nipples when I squeeze. Not much though. Showing no other signs of pregnancy - her tummy isn't hard, no behavior change, is sleeping a LITTLE more (but she's a pug and usually does sleep and incessantly eat), and this happened about two weeks ago. Maybe 3. I've also heard that you can use a HUMAN pregnancy test on dogs to see if they are. Is that true???? To answer a few of your questions... no, I'm NOT looking to breed her to this dog. I only took him in long enough to get him healthy again and then find him a new and loving home - which I DID, and he's going to his new home (a farm) today at noon, actually. To answer ANOTHER question...I haven't had my girl spayed for one reason, and one reason ONLY. I want ONE litter from her. No, it's NOT irresponsible. I was trying to do things the RIGHT way and wait until she was TWO AND A HALF years old, and breed her with another pug. The reason WHY I want her to have a litter? I know MANY low-income/disabled people who are in serious need of a companion, but can't pay an exorbitant price for a good pup. My girl is free of all genetic issues as well as several generations back, and I'm NOT charging these disabled people for her pups once she breeds PROPERLY. I'm disabled/low income as well, but I take good care of her/vet care, and I know they will do the same. This was an OOPS if she is. I just want the disabled people to have the opportunity to own such a wonderful companion as my dog. She's absolutely wonderful in all ways, no health problems, no genetic problems, no behavioral issues, no training issues since birth on, ect. without them being FORCED to pay hundreds just because they're PUREBRED. In my opinion and experience throuought the years, pugs are the BEST (in my opinion) dogs to have as companion animals to a disabled person - it's just that most cant' afford them, so they don't get the chance to OWN them. And no, just because you can't afford to BUY one, doesn't mean you can't afford vet care. I know. I get little more than $700 a month and her needs come first. I've spent $250 this month alone in her vet care (shots for the yr, heartworm check and prevention, antibiotics when a stray cat scratched her and caused a small infection on her leg, flea treatment, rabies vaccination, ect.) and I was more than happy to do it for my baby! My question has NOT been answered though. (Though your comments are appreciated.) If she has a small ammount of colostrum (or what I would assume to BE colostrum) coming out when I SQUEEZE, does that mean she IS pregnant? If so, I DO NOT intend on letting her have these pups. How much (ballpark guess) is a pregnancy test for her, and how much would a puppy abortion cost? I'm not going to spay her until she has the one litter eventually, so I'm sorry if that offends you - but I would really like to make a few good people (proven to be good pet owners) the proud owners of a pug and wonderful little companion. I know one teenager who doesn't have a ton of years to live (very bad case of MS) who's always wanted one. He has NO friends because he can't get out due to being homebound because of his disease. He needs a good buddy, and when he passes, his mom will need the buddy as well for comfort.(Already spoke with the mom on this.) She WILL be spayed after the 1 litter though
Is it wierd to have your breasts "pumped" by a lactation cunsultant at week 28 of pregnancy? He said he wanted to check how well they were "working" if ,one "worked" better,and to check for the proper "fit" of the part that goes on the nipple...Obviously we only expressed a bit of colostrum...my sister in law is freaking out saying I should'nt have let that be done,because i could go into labor now...i figure he knows what he's doing....what do you all think?
nipple rings breast feeding? i am 33 weeks pregnant. i have had nipple rings for the past ten years and am planning to breastfeed. i read it shouldnt be too much of a problem, however, i would like to know from women with personal experience if there was problems and also when is a good time to take them out, or does it matter. also when during pregnancy did colostrum start leaking.
Breast reduction and breast feeding question..? I had a breast reduction awhile ago and was told by the DR that it may be a possibility that I wouldn't be able to nurse because of some possible damage to the milk ducts resulting from the operation. I was wondering if anyone else had 1 and if so, did your breast leak colostrum in your pregnancy (I am 6 months and havent noticed any leaking yet) and were you able to nurse your baby successfully?
Breast milk production? I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my second child. Within a few hours of giving birth to my first child I had full blown milk and had gone from a D to a DDD cup (bra). Anyhow, the doctor didn't look at my chart or me and told me to pump every 2 hours, assuming that I was having trouble producing milk. Well, I produced even more than I ought to have. I am scared this will happen again. It was very painful, I couldn't actually breast feed, I couldn't put on the breastshields not because of pain but that I wasn't physically able to. It was horrible. Enough background info, onto my questions: Is there a way to avoid early colostrum production in pregnancy, even old wives' tales (I started leaking at 5 months last time)? Is there a way to reduce the amount of milk you produce without stopping the milk production completely? Any suggestions on reducing the pain? I just want to be prepared this go round, thank you. Oh, and my nipple was completely flat, and hard like your knee is... so my kid had nothing to latch onto... that is why I thought the breast shields might have helped, but they couldn't be put on either... I'd like to avoid the knee-nipple too :) Thanks again for all the help!

Is this normal? Is it normal for clear liquid to leak from my nipples during pregnancy? At first, I thought it was colostrum, but I keep reading that colostrum is indeed a thick yellowish color. This susbstance is clear and rather thin in texture. I guess I'm trying to ask if colostrum can be clear and thin? BTW im 24 weeks tomorrow. thanks.
my breast milk never came in? i have this problem,,,my milk never came in,,,as soon as i gave birth i tried to latch on my kid,,,she wouldnt latch on very well,,and she would fall asleep,,,lactation consultants brought me a pump,,so i could stimulate my nipples before i breast fed my kid,,the whole time i was in the hospital(4 days) i never got engorged, i never felt the let down reflex,,nothing,,,come to think of it,,my boobs never did get huge during pregnancy......however,,when i do sqeeze the nipple,,a minimal amount of colostrum(i think thats what it is)comes out,,,still my baby is 2 weeks old,,and still nothing,,,,ive been pumping at home,,not at often as i should i think,,,most i get is like 10 ml if im lucky,ive been feeding it to her with a syringe.......will my milk ever come in,,,should i just give up hope and accept formula,,i feel like a failure.. should i keep pumping?...i dont know what to do.....is there anything homeopathic i can take??..im open to just about anything,,i really want to breastfeed!!
Is this normal? at 4 months pregnant? Hey everyone!!!!! I am 4 months and 2 days pregnant, and i have been so scared to look at my boobs becasue my nipples have gotten large, and my areola is wider, and they have been hurting. Well today i didnt feel any pain so i noticed the vains in my breast are like poking out, like they are really see able and i am a light complexion, i haven seen anything like that before, also i have been leaking some colostrum that has dryed up and fell off. Is this normal? it kinda freaked me out. Is it normal to have mild headaches on and off during pregnancy? And i have been urinating ALOT! even if its just a little pee it feels like my bladder is about to explode, is this normal? the frequent peeing had stopped. does it start back again? This is my first pregnancy. so all the answers help me! PLEASE HELP!
when should i test? weird periods....? ok well i had a baby 4 months ago. then, i got my first period after he was born... then i got 2 more periods that same month - now, its been like 25 days or so since i started my last bout of bleeding (im not 100% sure - it all just sort of blends into one). what i want to know is, my breasts are heavier and ive started producing milk again - well its like milk whereas its white but its sticky like colostrum, not watery at all like breastmilk (i breastfed for four weeks, hes now 17 weeks and i havent leaked for at least 12 weeks) and im tired (but could easily be bcause i hemmoraged during birth and lost a lot of blood - plus a newborn!). should i test for pregnancy? and if so, when should i wait until? ive got no regular symptoms of period to go by except that the three periods i had were INCREDIBLY painful for the 3 days before and then all throughout and i dont have any cramping yet. any advice appreciated! :) oh i forgot to add one of the most important parts!! i started the pill the day i started my period, took it throughout the month while bleeding ect and stopped it at the end of the month when my last period started so i think i only actually ovulated my first period when i started to take the pill (cuz you dont ovulate on the pill) which was around july 1st i think... then i had those other two weird periods midway thru and then the last week of july. any tips? should i have already tested since i dont think i would have ovulated those last two periods and my last ovulating period was almost 2 months ago? i dont have morning sickness which is what told me i was pregnant with my son but the breast leakage kicked in in the last week or so, as well as the breast heaviness/ does all this make sense? if not - let me know and i'll try to clarify. no i bled for the six weeks after he was born, didnt bleed for 3 weeks and then had my first actual period, started the pill, starting bleeding twice more (not sure if i ovulated) and stopped the pill and havent bled since
