- No.
- No. Sometimes it leaks out, but I wouldn't squeeze it out. Save it for the baby.
- I had to push it out because I had a blocked duct..I was only 19 weeks sometimes you have to release it.
- the f*ck is a colostrum?
- No, there's no need to. And when your baby is born, that's what they need to be drinking until your milk comes in. It's full of protective antibodies!
- It's OK for the baby to have this. God Bless you for breastfeeding.
- Don't think it matters (buy WHY would you do that? It sounds painful!) My first pregnancy, I never even had leaking...second pregnancy I did, but only when I had thoughts about the baby. I also had one breast leakier than the other (the one not as leaky was the one I'd had a piercing in, though I was assured by the doctor that it wouldn't make a difference) I have never heard that, and personally, wouldn't do it!
- No. colostrum is the best part of breastmilk for the baby. If it leaks out, there's nothing you can really do about it, but don't squeeze it out. The more the baby gets, the better.
- no as when you child is born they need that it is good for the child
- NO! Leave it how it is! If you're leaking, buy some breast pads and either put them in your regular bras or step up to maternity bras (I heard they're really comfortable...) Stimulating the nipple (squeezing the colostrum out) encourages milk production, which isn't meant to be done until the baby is born. Your baby needs that colostrum, it contains so many good antibodies and nutrients your baby needs in the first few days of life. After that, your milk will come in as it's meant to. Good luck and congrats :)
- No, if you're leaking a lot, get a nursing pad.
- No!
- no. it comes out naturally. you just need to be patient but vigilant in waiting. colostrum usually comes out on the 3rd day post partum. some comes out earlier, some later. however, try your best to let your newborn suck from time to time until the colostrum naturally comes out. in my case, i used Avent bottles so there'll be lesser confusion between my nipples and the bottle's.
- COLOSTRUMS GOOD FOR UR SKIN, DID U KNO?
- No, it's very important for your baby to get as much of that colostrum as possible. Now, i guess if you're not going to breastfeed at all, it wouldn't hurt to. Might just make your nipples even more sore.
- NO NO NO NO NO!. DO NOT PUMP OR MILK YOUR BREASTS DURING PREGNANCY B/C YOU CAN CAUSE YOURSELF TO GO INTO PRE-TERM LABOR. JUST WEAR A NURSING PAD TO PREVENT LEAKING ON YOUR SHIRT. DO NOT TRY TO COLLECT & STORE MILK BEFORE BABY IS BORN. OB/GYN RN
- no, colostrum is really healthy for the baby if you are planning on breastfeeding.
- you are not supposed to squeeze the colostrum out. The colostrum is good for your baby and you want to leave it for your baby to drink. good luck!
