How can my doctor find out if my immune system is weakened?

I have been getting sick pretty much every month for the last 6 months or so, and I also just had a benign tumor removed from an ovary. I really think that these are symptoms of weakened immune system, is there a way for doctors to test for that? And is there anything they can do to treat me? Thanks!

1. Dr.'s do blood work to watch your inner body. Ask him what yours says and tell him how you feel. If your having problems - thats what he is for!!
2. A lowered white blood cell count is a good indication of a weakened immune system (or some kinds of leukemia.) ┌
