What are some good ways to boost my immune system?

I'm trying to avoid catching this stomach virus that is going around and someone said making sure I have a good immune system will help, but I don't know how to achieve this. Any advice?

  3. vitamin C..and they have this new suppliment out now called "airborne" that is suppose to strengthen your immune system.

  5. take vitamins (especially vitamin C, it helps boost your immune system)..drink orange juice, or eat oranges--alot of citrus!! carry purell around in a carry bottle nad use it frequently..germs are everywhere! and wash your hands after using the bathroom..dont put your hands near your face..dont share food or drink with people..they might be getting sick and you dont even know it...eat breakfast lunch and dinner...get PLENTY of rest..and make sure you dont overwork yourself beceause the minute you do you get sick because your immune system is working overtime. i hope i helped!
  6. Airbourne is great, but it can get super pricey after awhile. Start buying Vitamin C and take 1000 MG a day. Then buy some Echinacea with Goldenseal. It's an hearb that people take to boost immunity. Take those as directed. Then if you start feeling sick, take double the amount listed. My doctor told me to do this daily because I work with snot nosed kids. So far its worked great, and i havent gotten sick at all!!
  7. Your best defense against contagious disease is to wash your hands with soap and water frequently.
  8. if your body is strong your immune cells will be strong. live well,eat well and exercise well.
