What are the best foods to help you create a healthy immune system?
I live alone and stay busy. I dont have much time for cooking. I jog at least 3-4 times a week for 2 miles. Most of my food is from resturants because I find it difficult to keep fresh food here since I am always on the go. However, I want to start new ways to boost my immune system and keep it healthy. What are some good foods for this? What are some more exercising techniques I could fit into my daily schedule as well?

- i suggest yoga. Not only is it a great exercise it also holds many health and immune boosting benefits. As far as diet goes..eat 3-5 fruits and veggies per day...choose lean cuts of meat (avoid red meat as mush as possible), shy away from fried foods and processed sugars...take a multivitamin, and lastly, since I am a woman as well, I drink milk every night with dinner...it seems like a lot, but just start out slow, and you will see the benefits right away
- You can't create an immune system. You can help it function better by fresh fruit and produce. Nothing already in a box= ready to eat. If you must eat at restaurants choose cafeterias with healthy choices and sensible portions (Luby's is good). You exercise pattern seems pretty fair.
