How do they test for a weak immune system on children?

My child seems to have very week immune system, what kinda test do they perform to find out, what do I tell my doctor I want done to test this? She also has recieved alot of antibotics, how do they test for yeast build-up? I have asked my doctor, but don't seem to be asking correctly or I am not confident enought in what I am talking about because I am getting shoved to the back burner.

1. First, ask your pediatrician if he/she believes your child's immune system is weak. Children by and large pick up more viral illness than adults. It's not wise to treat these with antibiotics everytime. Routine blood work such as a Complete Blood Count can provide a good starting point to investigate immunity related problems.
