What do I need to do to strengthen my immune system?

I been on and off on antibiotics for past 2 years. I think my immune system is totally ruined. What do I need to do?

  14. Drink Orange Juice every morning, Drink a Smoothie made from oranges and anything else you want (avoid adding sugar) in the afternoon, Drink Green Tea during or after dinner. Just incorporate this into your life and your immune system should be pretty good after a while.

You can also take something called Airborne which your supposed to take when you see people around you getting sick. GUARANTEED! I've used it a thousand times and never gotten sick from someone else.   16. Eating right is the easy answer. Most people can't or just don't. A multi-vitamin is the answer for the majority of people including me. I take Centrum for men. There are lost of products out there just find one that is easy on your systerm.
  17. You need to take a good mulitvitamin that is well absorbed by your body. If it isn't well absorbed you won't be getting the proper nutrition you need. Use a good antioxidant supplement as well daily. Since you have been on antibiotics often be sure to take an acipophillus capsule or eat lots of yogurt with live active cultures to get your digestive flora back on track.

Also the best vitamin I think on the market is called Alive, u can get at your health food stores. Has all ur vit. minerals evertthing. Take 1 in am and 1 at night. Eat yogurt with live cultures they come in all good flavors now, I add 2 Tbls. of organic flax seed to it, its great for YOU & taste real good in the yogurt. Try to exercise even for just 15 min. per day its great for your health and mood. Also have u had Danactive its a drink and I thought it would taste bad, but it taste real good. Also to be on the safe side since your immune system is down use the new product airborne, it really prevents you from catching other peoples germs, u can use it when u know u will be out and about and around alot of people.   21. If its not working then get another professional to help you. I had a very simular problem for many years. I could NOT get well. I was weak, literally gray colored and had a hard time breathing. By the time I got the right help, I was on several inhalers, steriods and antibotics. i could not lay down to sleep or walk to the car without being winded. My immune system was so stressed, my hair was falling out. Never guess it was something so benign. The problem a chronic infection in my sinus cavity. Their was not any option but surgery. At that point I was ready for anything. Its been a year ago now- Today ironically. Had I known it, I would have done it five years ago. It hurt- no lie, yet I have been a feeling like a super hero since one month after that operation. The infection was cleared out, I was on literally 7 days of post-op anitbotics and that is it for the last year. Amazing. I could see better out of my right eye and I can breath through my nostals, I didnt're realize just how bad it was before. I did not know I had that problem, just thought it was allergies. MY dentist was the one who noticed it in my x-rays, my teeth and eyes hurt and he looked at my old x-ray shots and the new ones and said that's a nasty sinus infection- okay- it looks like for over 5 years now. I went to an ENT (earnose throat specialist) The first visit, he was shocked that I was still funtioning, when he ran some tests, he wanted me in the hospital then, I said, not before christmas. He said, Your a lucky woman- this can infection your brain and you could have died. I thought he was joking- and upon researching it, he was very right. So immune systems are there to give you signals to an underlying problem, you may not know what the "root" problem is, I didn't for 5 years and went through a really rough pregancy and never realized it could have been fixed.   22. The immune system is made up of several parts and the antibiotics you have been taking have destroyed your intestinal flora, I'm sure. This happened to me when doctors didn't know what was causing a problem for me, I was put on those things by so called well educated, doctors because it was all they were educated to do. I have found that doctors and most professionally educated nutrtionists have no clue. My immune system is working so well now that I do not get sick even when I'm around very sick family members, friends, etc. I have not had a cold or flu in several years. I never get a flu shot! Ever! It's amazing how little our medical system knows and how missinformation is rampant in our psuedo-health care system. There are some basic things you need to know. 1. Vitamin C, or any vitamin, in synthetic form has been documented to work for a little while and then damage your DNA. Many of the so called natural vitamin C products on the market mix synthetic C with the C from a natural source and are not labeled as all natural. 2. Any pill you take has excipients and toxic tagalongs that can have bad consequences. A good example is the Magnesium Stearate they put in pills to facilitate the release of the pill from the machine that makes them. This Magnesium Stearate is a hydrogenated oil and it supresses the immune system as well as inhibits the absorption of the ingredients of the pill! 5% of the total milligram in the pill is typical. If you take 1,000 milligrams of Vitamin C, you are getting 50 milligrams of an anti-immune system element with it. This is not good science and it is not good for you, regardless of what the Doctors tell you. Ask yourself, where does synthetic Vitamin C come from? A tree? A laboratory? Taking a multi-vitamin tablet to try and provide yourself with any kind of protection and adequate supplementation is like trying to make mud by throwing a handful of dirt in the ocean. 3. You need to get your intestinal flora back in shape. There are a few things you need to do to do this. I suggest a good probiotic (e-mail me and I will give you information on where you can get this). Eat foods that support good bacterial growth like sauerkraut, keifer milk, buttermilk, yoghurt, etc. I would take Betaine HCL + a good tomato activator to promote better disgestion, so your body doesn't have to deal with rotting food. As you age, from about age 25, you produce less and less stomach acid until about age 80, you will be producing about 5% of what you did at 25. This will cause rotting food, and then lactic acid from the rotting food causing the so called "acid indigestion," acid reflux and a lot of toxins that cause disease. Antacids promote this rotting food and toxic build up. DO NOT TAKE ANTACIDS! 4. When a baby is born, before the mother produces milk from the breast, a substance called colostrum is produced. This is true for most mammals. It is the way nature provides protection for the newborn. It is very high in immune substances was well as other nutritive substances that secure the survivability of the new born. Cows produce this substance and lucky for us, it is very compatible when compared to human colostrum, but it is one more thing, it is 40 times more potent. New Zealand has Bovine Cholostrum that provides antibiotic, toxin free products. I suggest you take this every day. 5. Another great immune booster is oleuropin. This is an olive leaf extract. It is a wonderful killer of bacteria, viruses, and fungus. 6. Another issue is the lymphatic system. This part of the immune system is very important. This system removes cancer cells, toxins, dead cells, etc. from the body. If it is not working properly, the body has to use up it's immune system to deal with the garbage. Devil's Claw is a good herb for the lymphatic system. Also eliminate the toxic oils like Soybean and Canola. These are very toxic oils the way they are processed and are very high in omega 6 fatty acids that are inflamatory. Use Olive oil, palm oil, etc. Stay away from commercial beef you find in regular grocery stores. This beef is grown on grain. It is very high in omega 6 fatty acids and contains anti-biotics, growth hormones and has large amounts of fatty tissue throughout the beef. Very hard on the immune system. I highly recommend eating Grass Fed Beef. This product, if from a quality cow, like Barzona is very, very good for you. Very high in omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin E, vitamin K, and very high in CLA (coagulated linoleic acid - anti cancer agent). Most of all, do not listen to doctors about nutrition. They have no clue. They are well educated, legal drug pushers and their source are the drug companies. If you believe drug companies are putting your health before profits, ask them why they are pushing Antacids that they know are damaging people's health. It's a 2 to 3 billion dollar market for them. If they told people the truth and recommended the HCL fix I suggested above, they would lose those billions because HCL is cheap. Amazing. Then ask your doctor why he recommends the antacids. Because he either doesn't know or he is a slave to the drug companies telling him what is best. Now that is Amazing. 7. The last and final issue for the immune system is nucleotides. About 15 years ago a couple Sweds discovered the importance of these substances on the immune system. Many Europeans are taking nucleotides for getting rid of colds in one day. This really works. Yes, again, how many pharmacies have told you about this? What would they do with all those products on their shelves? Another Amazing! 8. Another immune booster is juicing. Buy a good juicer like the Jack-la-lane juicer for about $90 and each and every day, juice a grape fruit, a couple apples, a couple carrots, a pineapple, and a couple oranges. Mix this with whey powder, colostrum powder, and devil's claw and watch how powerful this works. 9. DO NOT GET FLU SHOTS! They are terrible for you and your immune system. This sham is creating huge problems for the future. These shots contain mercury that has been proven by the University of Calgary and peer reviewed by many other universities that very tiny amounts of mercury kills the tubulon as it is forming new brain cells and kills existing tubulon structures that cause Alzheimers. Get rid of your amalgam fillings (silver fillings). 50-60% of those fillings are mercury. Mercury vapor from those fillings is given off each day from brushing, eating, and drinking, especially hot fluids. This vapor goes into the liver where mercuric ions are formed and end up in the brain, killing brain cells. Very bad on the immune system. Good luck.
  23. Living frequently on antibiotics is a hell. It also causes ulcers in the stomach. If our immune system is ruined, it can be rebuilt completely by our body without depending on any external medications. First become a pure vegetarian. Eat cereals (rice, bread, or maize), pulses (green peas, peanuts, soya beans, beans, etc), vegetable oils, all kinds of vegetables, all kinds of spinach, fruits, and nuts. Avoid all kinds of meat, eggs, and seafood. This is the frist step. The next step is doing regular meditation. Sit on a chair or sofa comfortably and clasp your hands together by intertwining your fingers. Now close your eyes and observe your natural breath. Don't force your breath to maintain certain uniformity. Don't interfere with it. Let the breath be itself naturally. Your duty is only to observe the incoming and outgoing breath through your nostrils. If you get into any thoughts, cut them at once and bring back your attention again on your natural breath. Do this meditation daily at any free time at anywhere for half an hour. In the beginning it seems difficult but if you practice this daily, you will master it. This meditation is called Anapanasati Meditation preached by Buddha 2600 years ago. So keep in mind these two things: eating only vegetarian food and doing meditation. Your immune system will soon be rebuilt and you will be surprised at the results. Then there will not be any need for any kind of antibiotics.
