Colostrum Powder

is it normal during pregnancy to leak colostrum from only one breast?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have been leaking colostrum. However, it is only leaking from one breast. Will I have trouble breast feeding from the breast not leaking?

  1. The closer it comes time 4 u 2 have ur baby, the milk will start 2 form in ur breast. The milk will b ready and will come out of both breasts by then. And therefore u should b able 2 breastfeed. Happy feeding!!!
  2. not necessarily you will leak more as the time draws near. you should not have a problem breast feeding at all i have had to express milk for 3 weeks as i have diabete's and one of my breasts produces more then the other but im not worried it will all come in after bub is born good luck to you both
  3. Yes, it is normal to leak from one breast, no breasts or both breasts. Everything is normal in pregnancy. It is no indication of how well your milk production will be after birth. If you are leaking badly out of the one, I would recommend buying some nursing pads to stick in your bra. I have been using them for awhile now.
