- I can honestly say that in years of study I have never seen a report on the effects on fish of bovine colostrum. However, I can't see any way in which it would help growth rates or prompt any other factors that may be important to you. Generally speaking, practically nothing from warm blooded sources are usuable by fishes systems as effectively as materials from other cold blooded sources. Even growth hormone and pituitary extracts don't work cross species unless the species are closely related. I would suggest you stick with quality feed, adequate feed and superior water quality to promote solid and healthy growth. MM
