20 weeks pregnant and peeling skin on breasts? tmi sorry...?

I am wondering if this is common or not to have peeling skin on the nipples of the breasts while pregnant? I haven't changed soaps or washing powders recently and I don't have this on my skin anywhere else, but my skin is constantly peeling here and I am wondering if this is hormonal or if anyone else has experienced this? I will ask my doc on Monday but I don't want to call the office for something so silly lol. Any ideas? A couple of weeks ago I did leak a little colostrum but that has stopped. **Please no smarta** answers, I know this is a silly question I'm merely curious.

2. it is not a silly question... you should call your dr if you find it neccessary. and if he treats you like it is a silly question, then you should find another dr.
3. The hormones make your skin dry out. Try vitamin e oil on the nipps and cocoa butter on your breasts.
4. I am 24 weeks, and i have the same problem! My skin is peeling and my nipples itch really bad. I made the mistake if scratching them one time and these little brown pieces came out! i wonder what it is, Good question!!
5. well let me tell u something i am also pregnant am 31 weeks and i had the same problem but i asked my doctor and she told me that its normal for your nipples to start peeling and yea they also leak some yellow fluid so don't get scared because your body is getting the idea that in a couple more months something will come out of you and you will start breast feeding them.
