Does anyone know how to trick the immune system to not attack Calcium Pyrophosphate Dihydrate Crystals?

On some people these crystals develop in the joints. Some people's immune system ignores the crystals leaving the patient without symptoms. My friend gets a terrible inflamatory response from the above to the point where she can't walk. Taking dangerous prescription steroid drugs for the rest of her life seems the only choice she has.

CPDC crystals accumulate in the joint space when there is excessive calcium in body which can be due to excessive intake,or decreased removal by kidneys. when these crystals accumulate in joints these cause damage to joint surfaces causing pain.for that pain and inflammation you are given steroids.you can try other anti inflammatory if you have not been prescribed those.plus take pain killers. you can get your blood calcium and phosphorus checked.if calcium is raised then reduce calcium rich foods.it takes very long time to take effect.you will have to be really patient.
